Our Milestone
1976
Mr. and Mrs. Tekno Wibowo (a.k.a. Kina) started a small building materials store in Semarang selling primarily ceramic tiles.
19761982
The first store in Jakarta opened on Jl. Pinangsia, the center for building materials in Jakarta at that time.
19821991
We opened a large, luxurious showroom, named the House of Ceramics, in Jakarta’s new complex for building materials, Mangga Dua.
19911993 - 1997
The property boom during this period fueled strong growth in building materials in Indonesia. During these 4 years, we expanded our product offerings to include sanitary ware and bathroom fittings in order to meet the strong demand and became the market leader for high quality ceramics from Italy and Spain and a trusted agent for many other well-known brands from Europe and USA. House of Ceramics became Wisma Sehati.
1993 - 19971997 - 2006
As the Indonesian economy began to recover from the Asian financial crisis, we opened showrooms in Surabaya, Semarang and Bandung. By the end of 2006, Wisma Sehati had 5 showrooms across Indonesia. In parallel, we expanded our manufacturing partner base to include Chinese suppliers.
1997 - 20062010
A new showroom opened in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD).
20102012
The Panglima Polim showroom was renovated and became the first Hansgrohe Flagship store in Indonesia.
20122013 - 2014
We continued to expand our business by introducing laminate flooring and wallpaper.
2013 - 20142015
A new showroom opened in Surabaya (Jl. Diponegoro).
